| we first came to datca in may 2006. we were looking for a three bedroom house with a big garden to spend our retirement after looking for a few days we did not find anything that met our needs. we then decided to buy a plot of land and have a home built. |

| it was then we met haldun lacin. he showed us several plots of land and we decided on one on the edge of eski datca. haldun helped us with all the legalities of buying the land and by October when we visited datca again everything was completed and we were the proud owners of our land.

| haldun then introduced us to the architect and together we went over the design of our home. in January 2007 the land was cleared and building began. this was a very exciting time for us. during every step of the construction haldun kept in touch by e mail sending pictures at every stage of the development.

| we visited datca twice more before our home was completed. as you can see it is beautiful and more than exceeded our expectations. we can not recommend haldun more highly. we has helped us every set of the way and has become a good friend. the quality and attention to detail of the work are second to none i do not think any more exacting standards could have been applied even if he was building this home to live in himself . |

| in may this year we took possession of our home and stayed in it for the first time. the whole process has been so straightforward and simple, all down to haldun. if you are considering buying or building a home in datca haldun is the man. nothing is too much trouble for him and above he is truthful and honest. |
